Every review site covers machines in isolation. But an espresso machine without the right grinder is half a setup — and the wrong pairing wastes money. We pair specific machines with specific grinders at seven price points, from £380 to £2,750, so every pound goes toward better coffee in your cup.
We keep our recommendations tight. Seven setups, not seventy. Each one is the combination we'd buy with our own money at that budget. When something better comes along — a new model, a price shift, a product we've changed our mind about — we update the recommendation. Nothing stays on the site out of inertia.
We test with real workflows: weekday morning routines, weekend slow pours, back-to-back drinks for guests. If a pairing only works under lab conditions, it doesn't make the cut.
Everything on the site is priced in pounds, sourced from UK retailers, and checked against UK availability. No guesswork about international shipping or dollar conversions.
